Celebrate Cultural Heritage

Help the youth to celebrate their own heritage, learn about other cultures, and appreciate the diversity.

These events will encourage the residents to value diversity, address discrimination, and lead to good relationships between people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. And that is something to be celebrated!

Since this is new, the format is open to whatever ideas you have. Upcoming events would include:

• Asian Pacific Heritage Event- The month is May but can be during any month.
• Juneteenth- June 19th but event could be any time in June.
• Hispanic Heritage Month- September- The theme this year, “Be Proud of Your Past, Embrace the Future.”
