Come Once . . .

Come once as a first-time visitor and see if working with these youth captures your heart. You can meet some of the residents and staff, plus chat with other volunteers with no long-term commitment. Here’s a few of the activities and times that you can join us:

COMMUNITY SERVICE SOCIALS – Chat with 3 or 4 youth while helping them with a project that helps others. Socials are generally the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6 PM.  MORE

Art – Many express themselves best through art.  Join us on a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon for a lesson & project with a group of youth. MORE

COOKING and/or GARDENING  – Volunteers share their knowledge of growing and cooking.  The youth, of course love eating what they cook.  Join current volunteers on Sundays from 1 – 2:30 PM and 4 PM, Mondays at 4 PM and 6:30 PM.  Edible School Yard or Cooking

Once you are a cleared volunteer, you can join any current volunteer activities, mentor or tutor a student or share your own passions and hobbies with a group of youth.
